What is Reliving?

Reliving is a platform where you can sell and buy second hand interior items. We strive to give you the best possible shopping experience. Ease of use, inspiration and convenient search functions are our priorities. The offer is curated by Reliving to ensure quality. Safe and easy second hand sales and purchases, that is Reliving.

Is Reliving free?

Placing an ad on Reliving is completely free. In order to offer a good customer experience and to guarantee an ad-free website, we charge a commission of 10 to 19% + 2 euro transaction fees on an item. These costs are only charged when selling a product and are for the buyer.

How can I modify or remove an advertisement?

Removing or modifying an ad can be done in several ways at Reliving.

- You can edit or delete an item in our app. Available for iOS and Android. You can easily remove your item by logging in with your account and set the stock of your item in the ad to 0.

- You can also change or delete an item via the link sent in the email you receive when your item has gone live.

Can I return products on Reliving?

All sales are final, but if your purchase does not match the ad on Reliving you can request a return. You do this by emailing team@reliving.nl

Can I sell products on Reliving as a store?

Stores selling new products can register with Reliving, if they do not register brand new items but 'rejected' items such as returns, showroom models or samples that would otherwise be thrown away. In all these cases Reliving is the right place to give these items a second life to minimize waste. If the above is relevant to you or if you have a vintage store and want to use our platform to sell products you can email to team@reliving.nl

Who can see my data?

Only the data that is necessary in the sales process is released. For the buyer this means that only the data for shipping will be released to the seller. This is your name, address and email address or phone number. As a buyer you will only receive the name and zip code of the seller. If you want to pick it up yourself you will receive the address and email address and/or phone number of the seller. We never give information to other companies or third parties.

What does the commission entail?

To offer a high level of service and to guarantee an ad-free environment, we charge a commission of 10 to 19%. This fee is charged only on the sale of a product. All prices on the Reliving platform include the 10 to 19% commission and 2 euro transaction fee.

Why is Reliving safe?

Being able to safely buy and sell your products is very important to Reliving. When you buy a product, we hold the money for you. Only when you have received the product in good order, we pay the seller. Is this not the case? Then we refund the money to your account. In this way, we can prevent scams and you are always sure of your case.

How does buying on Reliving work?

On our product overview you will find a large number of second hand interior products. To make the search process as easy as possible, we have added all kinds of handy categories and search filters. If you have found what you were looking for, you can easily and safely pay with iDeal, Klarna or Credit Card.

How does bidding on Reliving work?

Sellers are free to decide whether they want to receive a bid. If the seller is open to accept a bid, then you as a buyer can make a single bid. Reliving hereby sets a minimum bid price to prevent nonsense bids. However, this does not mean that the seller accepts the bid and you may receive a counter-offer or possibly a rejection. If you want to accept your counterbid or accepted bid, you have 5 days to pay before it expires. Please note that your bid is not binding, and the item remains for sale to others.

Can I pay in cash?

It is not possible to pay cash for an item.

I want to cancel an order, how do I do that?

It is not possible to cancel an order. Of course, there are exceptions. If the order has not been shipped yet and you want to cancel it, please send an email to team@reliving.nl.

I want to send my order by parcel post, is this possible?

Shipping by post is possible for €6,95. Only items under 10kg and smaller than 100x50x50 can be shipped by post. A seller decides whether the item can be sent by post or not. If this is the case, this is indicated on the product page. Reliving is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during shipment by post. Want to be sure that your item arrives safely? Then we recommend using our courier service.

We apply different prices for foreign orders. Please check with Reliving for the exact price.

When will my product be shipped?

A seller has five working days to send the product. If you want to know if your order is on its way, check the track and trace code you received in the mail.

If you have chosen the delivery option, we will contact you and connect you with the seller to agree on a delivery date. When the delivery date has been agreed, we will set up the transport.

Important information: it is not always possible to book all transportation through our transportation company. Items that are larger than the dimensions of the canisters will need to be booked through an additional party such as Brenger or Pickthisup. Additional additional costs will be borne by the buyer in this regard. Should the buyer not agree to the additional charges, the order may be cancelled at no charge.

When can I return an item?

We would like to point out that you are buying something second hand in the first place. There may be signs of use. You may only return an item if:

  • It is broken
  • It does not match the advertisement

It is not possible to return an item if you don't like the item, or the dimensions are different than you had in mind (while they were mentioned in the advertisement).

How do I send something back?

You may only return an item if:

  • It is broken
  • It does not match the pictures

The buyer is always responsible for the shipping costs. The amount of the shipping costs depends on the shipping method. The shipping costs are added to the price of the item when the buyer purchases the item.

Large item (>10kg) Having the item delivered to your home depends on the number of miles and can be found in a province matrix when the buyer makes the purchase

How do I add a product?

There are several ways to sell a product at Reliving.

- You can place a product on Reliving by downloading our app. Available for iOS and Android. Only with an account can you add a product via the app.

Currently we do not accept new sellers. In case you want to sell at least five products, you can contact us directly via this link.

How do I take good photos?

Taking good photos is important and can help you sell your products faster. A few tips:

  • Choose a neutral background
  • Take photos in daylight
  • Do not take photos against the light
  • Put the product in the center of the photo
  • Add photos of the product in your interior
  • Avoid clutter around the product
  • Take detail shots

I have sold something, now what?

Congratulations on your sale! You will receive a confirmation of the sale in your mailbox. The next steps depend on the chosen shipping / pickup method of the buyer.

  • PostNL shipping: within 24 hours after the sale you will automatically receive a shipping label. Use this label for your package. The package must be posted within five working days. When packing, make sure to use good, sturdy and protective packaging so that the item arrives to the buyer in one piece.

Reliving is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during postal shipment.

  • Transport: if the buyer chooses transport,you need to let us know when the item can be collected. As a seller, you need to be available on weekdays between 09:00 - 18:00 for the transport. On the day of pick-up, the item needs to be standing by the front door and you need to help the delivery person if needed.
  • Pick-up from home: if the buyer chooses this option, the buyer will pick up the order. After the purchase you both will be connected in a chat to discuss the pick up. Make sure to both confirm in the chat that the item has been picked up. This is needed to approve the payment for your item.

When do I get paid?

Buyers pay through Reliving. If the order is approved by the buyer, the sale price minus the fee will be paid to the seller within twenty-four hours. In the case of postal shipping, Reliving will make payment within three, after verifying from the track-and-trace code that the order has been received by the buyer.

How do I determine the condition of my products?

There are three ways to categorize your product; new, good as new and used.

  • New: The product has not been used and it contains no damage or signs of use.
  • Good as new: the product is used, but there is no damage or traces of use such as stains
  • Used: the product has been used and it contains some damage or signs of use such as stains, but it is still usable.

Notice:

It is important that all damages and traces of use are clearly indicated in the ad by means of photos and text. Does your product deviate from the stated condition? Then the buyer can request a return. You will be held responsible for the cost as it was your responsibility to provide a clear description / pictures of the damages.

SHIPPING

How should I ship a product?

If you as a seller are responsible for the shipment of your item, it is important to pack it securely so that the product cannot be damaged during shipping. We recommend that you always ship the product with our label. This way you can always track the shipment and we can pay you faster. We can also always track the package this way.

If the delivery service is used, the seller should have the product ready at the entrance door so that the delivery person can easily load it in his truck. If the product is not liftable for the delivery person, the seller should offer support.

Within how many days do I have to send my product?

If you have sold an item and are shipping it yourself, the item must be shipped within 5 business days. Always use the shipping label you received from Reliving.

I have not received money, what now?

Have you received a confirmation of payment, but the money has not been credited? First check if the money was transferred to you over the weekend. If so, it may take longer. If this is not the case, please contact us at team@reliving.nl.
